We are looking for a talented Event Assistant to work for our client in Newcastle. They want to recruit someone with background of previous experience in the field. The Role: As the Event Assistant you\’ll report to the Event manager and will need to work well in a team, under pressure and in a new environment, in different venues in Newcastle. In the job role you\’ll be tasked with the following: Responsible for providing administrative, organisational, and logistical support to an event planner or event coordinator. Assisting with creative decisions. Helping set up and dismantle events efficiently through to completion. The standard working hours for this position are 7/8 hours shifts. The Candidate: The ideal candidate for this Event Assistant role will have relevant background of previous experience in the field. You\’ll also need experience of the ability to work calmly under pressure as well as good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.
