Dispatch Operator

We're looking for a talented Dispatch Operator to work for our client.   They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of excellent customer service skills.   If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for.   Please note:  In this position you'll be needed to work at weekends and work shifts in unsociable hours. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview. The Role: Receive incoming calls, coordinate with all operational, in particular the kitchen staff to ensure outbound trolleys are on schedule. Administrative work will be required and regular use iPad, tablets and computers. Monitor computers to determine arriving flight times to arrange for drivers to meet aircraft for unloading/loading. Provide accurate and timely information to Transport Team Leaders and other Unit Coordinator. Ensure production and off dock schedules are met. Coordinate with meal planners in case of any irregularities and changes. Contribute and manage within defined systems of working to ensure quality of product, service to the customer and team progression/development. Plan and manage the team's output to ensure delivery of business, section and customer targets. Escalate concerns to Duty Manager to avoid flight delays.
