Cleaning Operative (MAN-MK130) Burnley, England

Salary: £12.71 per hour + Paid Holidays.

We're looking for a talented Cleaning Operative to work for our client based in Burnley City Football Club. Even if you have limited work experience, you could be the right fit if you have a demonstrable background in cleaning.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.

Reporting to a Cleaning Supervisor and working as part of a team, this role is responsible for cleaning an area within a venue.

  • Cleaning tasks include picking up rubbish, toilet cleaning, detail cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, emptying bins, seat cleaning, washing metal staircases, removing chewing gum from all areas, and sanitising ablution facilities.
  • Carry out any reasonable client cleaning requests.
  • Communicate all cleaning and maintenance issues to the area supervisor as soon as possible.
  • Communicate all suspicious behaviour and potential security risks to the area supervisor as soon as possible.
  • Follow safe work practices as per company policies.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Cleaning Supervisor and the client.
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings before, during and after events.
  • All staff are guest‑focused and have intimate knowledge of facilities and services.
  • Adhere to site regulations for safety.
  • Follow all dress and behaviour codes, understood and adhered to.
  • Follow all company policies.
  • Inform the Cleaning Supervisor of work availability.
  • Preferably fluent in English.
