We are currently recruiting a Class 1 Driver to work for our client in the Glasgow area. Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply, so even if you have limited experience, this could be a great opportunity for you.

The Role

As a Class 1 driver, you'll be reporting to the Team Leader and working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, adapting to new situations on a daily basis. This is a physically and mentally demanding role that requires reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, average 9-10 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe and legal operation of a lorry
  • Conducting pre-trip vehicle checks
  • Ensuring loads are secure
  • Planning efficient delivery routes
  • Adhering to drivers' hours and road regulations
  • Delivering goods to specified locations on time

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with Category CE (Class 1)
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Minimum 1 year's experience desirable, but not essential

All drivers must complete a driving assessment and vetting process before starting.
