Class 1 Driver

Overview

Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Driver for an exciting opportunity based at East Midlands Airport (Castle Donington). This role involves working within the aviation sector, completing long-distance runs between airports and logistics centres. The position includes regular sleep outs during the week as part of the role.

Base: East Midlands Airport

Pay: £19.00 – £21.65 per hour

Class 1 Driver Role

• Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles transporting aviation cargo
• Nationwide trunking and deliveries
• Minimum 2 sleep outs per week
• Ensuring loads are transported safely and in line with aviation standards
• Completing transport paperwork and following driver hours regulations

Class 1 Driver Requirements

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ability to complete sleep out shifts (minimum 2 per week)
• Maximum 6 points on licence (no major endorsements)
• Flexible availability for shift work
