Class1 Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a large international ground handling company to recruit several Picker and Packers based at Stansted Airport. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to add multiple new team members to this fast-paced operation. The Role of the Picker and Packer
You will be working in a busy, dynamic warehouse environment supporting airport cargo operations.
Key Duties:
- Receipt and dispatch of cargo
- Pallet building and cargo preparation
- Checking in and processing goods
- Maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous experience working in a busy, modern warehouse
- Be a reliable team player with a flexible and self-motivated approach
- Be able to provide a 5-year checkable work history with full employer details (required for aviation security clearance)
- Be willing to work a 24/7 shift operation, including days and nights
All successful candidates will receive full Forklift Truck training and certification.
Essential Requirement
You must hold a valid full UK manual driving licence to be considered for this role. Applications without the required licence will not be accepted.
Working Hours
4 days on / 4 days off shift pattern: 4 day shifts followed by 4 night shifts, with 4 days off in between.
12-hour shifts:
- Days: 6am - 6pm
- Nights: 6pm - 6am
The Warehouse is operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Pay Rates
Day shifts: £***** per hour
Night shifts: £***** per hour
