Class 1 Personnel are working with a local client to recruit a HGV2 Refuse Driver for their site based in Brentwood. This is being offered on an ongoing basis (permanent).
Hours: 07:30 to 15:30 hrs Mon to Thurs, Fri: 07:30 to 15:00 hrs
What experience do I need for a HGV 2 Refuse Driver?
- Valid HGV 2 licence
- CPC card
- Tacho Card
Essential Criteria:
- Must hold full driving licence with HGV2 eligibility.
- Must have a valid CPC and Tacho card.
- Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans.
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
Main job description for the HGV2 Refuse Driver:
- Driving to planned collection locations and loading refuse into the truck.
- Helping out loading and unloading vehicles when required.
- Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
- Using onboard technology to complete work notes.
- Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.
- Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.
