Client in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain based in Westcott Aylesbury is looking for a motivated candidate to join the team as a Traffic Marshall (Banksman).

The Role

In the Traffic Marshall (Banksman) role you'll report to the Yard Manager and will be primarily working with the traffic (lorry/vehicles) coming in and out of the site by providing assistance and effective communication via signalling or verbal whilst manoeuvring the waste material into the recycling plant/processing machinery. You will be working at a food waste management company that prepares Biogas and fertilisers.

Specific tasks include:

  • Guiding the vehicle operator
  • Undertaking and understanding risk
  • Weighing the containers on the weighing bridge
  • Opening the required compartment for the vehicle to unload the waste
  • Assisting with other warehouse/yard duties of loading and unloading
  • Cleaning the area as required from food waste

Shift: 07:00 - 16:00, Mon - Friday

Pay: £13.78 - £14.00

The Candidate

  • Required CPCS/NPORS (Banksman Ticket)
  • Previous experience desirable
