Class 1 Personnel are working with a local client to recruit a 7.5T driver for their site based in Kidderminster. You will be collecting household waste from homes ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a team. As a 7.5T Driver, you will ensure that all vehicle checks are completed daily.
Essential Criteria:
- Valid 7.5T CPC card
- Tacho Card
- Must hold full driving licence with 7.5T eligibility
- Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
Main Job Description:
- Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements at all times
- Participate in waste collections, manoeuvre the vehicle and take responsibility for collection route ensuring completion and report any issues that may occur to the line manager
- All daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are immediately reported and correct paperwork complete
- Always observe procedures and policies
- Manage your routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved
- Ensure the correct equipment and PPE (personal protective equipment) is in good order and always used
- Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective manner
Ideal Qualities:
- Good attention to detail
- Good level of physical fitness
- Reliability and good time keeping skills
- Previous experience working on Dustcarts is desirable
