Overview
We\'re looking for a talented 7.5 tonne driver to work for our client in Warrington.
The role requires demonstrable experience in the field and the ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Collecting and transporting mail from different sites and moving it to the next stage of the delivery process.
- Working independently, driving fixed routes across the UK.
- Loading and unloading the vehicle, delivering to schedule, and maintaining the security of loaded items throughout the journey.
Shifts: 5 on, 3 off pattern. Day and night shifts. The role requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts on a rotational basis, including night driving, weekends and bank holidays.
Requirements
- Full UK driving license with Category C (Class 2)
- At least 1 year of experience
- Less than 6 penalty points
- 3 years\' employment history available upon request
- Pass a UK criminal record check
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A strong work ethic and \'can-do\' attitude
- Reliability and punctuality
- UK right to work
- Excellent communication, teamwork and customer service skills
- Flexible attitude and a team player
Desirable but not required: minimum of 1 year of experience in similar roles.
