Part‑time – 18:00 to 21:00, Monday–Friday. Domestic Assistant (Band 2) – Permanent, part hours available. High quality, flexible, patient‑focused service within the Trust’s Domestic Department.
Main Duties:
- Provide high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital following appropriate procedures.
- Use chemicals and handle cleaning equipment responsibly and within health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain patient, staff and public safety through appropriate use of warning signage.
- Work independently or as part of a team to deliver services as directed by policies, procedures and national standards monitored by supervisory staff.
- Display a friendly, helpful manner and a sensitive approach when dealing with patients and their families.
