Responsibilities
- Provide first‑class clinical service, including emergency breast surgery.
- Lead and develop teaching for trainees and junior consultants.
- Maintain adherence to Trust procedures, service plans, and contractual requirements.
- Support and supervise trainees in clinical and operative skills.
- Upskill the team in evidence‑based practice and NICE guidelines.
Qualifications
- Full GMC registration, CCT or CESR (CP) within 6 months of interview.
- Expert clinical knowledge of elective and emergency breast cases.
- Training in gastrointestinal endoscopy and JAG accreditation (or equivalent).
- Evidence of research, publications, and participation in audit projects.
- Leadership experience in surgical teams and quality improvement.
