The Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you own pipeline creation. You will target logistics and warehouse-led businesses, open doors with senior decision-makers and turn cold conversations into high-quality discovery meetings for the Account Executive team. This is a high-performance SaaS role with clear targets, real accountability and a defined path into closing. If you can create opportunity, you will progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Own outbound pipeline generation across defined target accounts
- Design and execute structured, multi-channel outreach campaigns
- Engage Operations Directors, Supply Chain Leaders and senior stakeholders within logistics and warehouse environments
- Lead commercially focused qualification conversations to uncover operational pain and growth plans
- Convert outbound conversations into high-quality, criteria-aligned discovery meetings for the Account Executive team
- Maintain disciplined CRM management and accurate pipeline reporting
- Re-engage dormant and inbound opportunities to maximise pipeline value
- Provide structured market feedback to sharpen messaging, targeting and positioning
What We’re Looking For
- 1 - 3 years’ experience in SDR, BDR, recruitment or outbound sales
- Experience selling or working with modern SaaS applications
- Proven track record of booking meetings with mid-to-senior decision-makers
- Strong commercial instinct and confidence on the phone
- Structured approach to outbound activity and follow-up
- Comfortable operating in a growing SaaS environment
- Experience using CRM and outbound tools such as Zoho, Apollo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Based in Manchester for hybrid working
