A well-established college is seeking a friendly and motivated Sports Centre Assistant to join its team on a part-time basis. The Role
As a Sports Centre Assistant, you will be the welcoming face of the facility during opening hours and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the Sports Centre. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering fitness classes and gym inductions
- Assisting with equipment setup, maintenance, and storage
- Upholding health and safety standards at all times
- Ensuring all equipment and facilities are clean, tidy, and well maintained
- Providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and members of the public
Working Hours
12 hours per week Tuesday and Friday, 4:00pm – 10:30pm
What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification is essential
- Ability to deliver high-energy fitness classes
- First Aid at Work qualification is desirable
- Enthusiastic, approachable, and professional attitude
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of service
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
