We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our school as a Spiritual Wellbeing Lead at our Primary School. This is an opportunity for a gifted individual with excellent interpersonal skills to inspire, nurture and support our pupils on their spiritual journey. Working closely with teaching and key pastoral staff, the Spiritual Wellbeing Lead will help strengthen and deepen the spiritual ethos of the school. The staff at our Primary School are passionate about our school and are relentlessly focused on improving the achievement and opportunities for all our students. All staff who work at the school will need to subscribe to our ethos and values and seek to improve and develop their own practice and performance for the benefit of our students. Through professional development, we support our staff to excel in creating a highly successful learning environment for our students and we are an ambitious team who strive to ensure that all students enjoy learning and surpass expectations.
What will you do?
- Foster the holistic development of students and staff—emotionally, spiritually, and mentally—aligned with the school’s ethos and values.
- Offer one-to-one emotional and spiritual wellbeing support, while facilitating reflective discussion groups for pupils, staff, and parents.
- Collaborate with teaching, pastoral, and inclusion teams to enhance the school’s overall wellbeing and chaplaincy provision.
- Lead assemblies, create spiritual and wellbeing resources, coordinate liturgical events, and deepen engagement with local faith communities.
