Our specialist School is seeking enthusiastic and motivated SEN Teachers to join our dedicated team, supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), * Inspire and motivate students, fostering an inclusive environment that promotes learning for all abilities.

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to learners with complex learning needs, adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of students.

  • Work collaboratively with school staff; other SEN Teachers, specialists, and other professionals to support the holistic development of students.

  • Be proactive in engaging with the wider community and school stakeholders, contributing to the school’s inclusive ethos.

  • Lead and manage staff in providing 1:1, small group, and whole-class teaching.

Located in the London Borough of Brent, our specialist school caters for students between the ages of 3 and 19, with a range of complex needs, including cognition and learning difficulties.

Our school site is close to local amenities and also benefits from on-site staff parking and easy public transport access via the Jubilee Line.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching children with SEND as a SEN Teacher.

  • Proven experience in an inclusive setting, demonstrating an understanding of the Inclusion Agenda.

  • Ability to create engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning needs and abilities.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

  • Experience working in a special school or with children with complex needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

  • A strong understanding of the curriculum and relevant teaching methods, including knowledge of phonics and early mathematics.

  • Leadership skills to support colleagues and drive high standards of teaching and learning.
