The predicted salary is between 20065 - 20065 £ per year.

The team provides high quality support to students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, to include D/deaf students, those with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Physical Access needs, Learning Disabilities, Visual Impairment and Language Impairment.

The primary purpose of this job role is to support students with learning difficulties and disabilities to become empowered so that they can fully access the curriculum and successfully achieve their programme of study through their development of greater independence.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • has initiative, is practical, positive, warm, and compassionate and is able to support children academically, socially and emotionally.
  • has experience of working with children of all ages.
  • has experience of working with a range of special educational needs including children who are non verbal.
  • has experience of carrying out targeted interventions, working from EHCPs and with external professionals.
  • has a positive attitude and who is flexible and able to adapt to different situations.
  • is hard working, energetic, enthusiastic and who will support our values and Christian ethos.
  • has the ability to support children's academic, social and emotional development in all Key Stages (EYFS to Year 6).
  • is able to develop positive relationships with pupils, having an understanding of their social and emotional needs.
  • is able to remain calm when met with a variety of challenges.
