An ambitious and inclusive 2FE primary school in Islington is seeking a skilled and committed Primary Class Teacher to join the team from September 2026. As a Primary Class Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching and learning, ensuring that all pupils are engaged, challenged and supported to succeed. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum, adapting your approach to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and those with English as an additional language. You will use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress, provide meaningful feedback and inform future planning. Creating a positive, purposeful and safe learning environment will be central to your role, alongside promoting high standards of behaviour and pupil wellbeing.

The ideal candidate:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have successful experience teaching in a primary setting (non‑ECT)
- Demonstrate strong subject and curriculum knowledge
- Have a clear understanding of effective teaching, learning and assessment strategies
- Be confident in meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Show commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- Be reflective, proactive and committed to professional development
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
