Are you passionate about helping young people succeed? Do you have a talent for guiding learners through life’s challenges and supporting their growth both academically and personally?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactivePersonal Development (PD) Coachto join ourteam and make a real difference in the lives of our students.
As a PD Coach, you’ll initially be embedded in our Construction Department, working alongside teachers and support staff to help studentsstay engaged, build essential skills, and move confidently towards further study or employment.
You’ll provide a mix ofpastoral care, learning support, andpersonal development coaching, with a focus on students with higher needs or those at risk of falling behind. This is a meaningful role where every day is an opportunity to unlock a student’s potential.
Who We’re Looking For
You\’ll be a natural motivator, a good listener, and someone who genuinely cares about the student journey. You’ll be comfortable juggling priorities, having sensitive conversations, and using data to track impact. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience working with young people or learners in an educational, youth work, or pastoral support setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, EHCPs, and student support services.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Confidence using digital learning tools and an interest in assistive technology.
- A flexible, team-oriented attitude and the drive to go the extra mile.
