About the Role
In this rewarding position, you’ll provide targeted 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs — including those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). You’ll also work with small groups to promote engagement, progress, and confidence across the curriculum.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualised support for students with SEN, particularly SEMH and EHCP needs.
- Supporting teachers in delivering differentiated, inclusive lessons.
- Helping students manage emotions, develop communication, and access learning.

Essential requirements:
- Experience supporting students with SEN, particularly SEMH or EHCPs, in a school setting.

- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
Desirable:
- Relevant SEN training or TA qualification (Level 2/3).
- Experience working within secondary education.
