The role

  • Acting as a first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors, providing a warm and professional reception.
  • Managing incoming calls, emails and enquiries, ensuring messages are passed on promptly and accurately.
  • Supporting attendance processes, maintaining accurate registers and following up on absences where required.
  • Carrying out general administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, scanning, data entry and maintaining school records.
  • Assisting with admissions, pupil records and SIMS/other MIS updates.
  • Providing administrative support to SLT, teaching staff and other departments as needed.

  • Previous experience working in a school office or busy administrative environment (education experience highly desirable).
  • Strong IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office and school management systems (e.g. SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom).
