We are looking to appoint an inspirational Lead Practitioner of Science (Physics) to join our team of outstanding teachers in this popular and growing KS4 and KS5 subject. Are you an excellent classroom practitioner and aspiring leader who is passionate about their subject? If so, we are looking for you to join our team of highly skilled staff delivering outstanding lessons to our exceptional students.

In 2025, the outcomes for the department were:

  • A Level; Physics Cohort size: 28, A*-A: 36%, A*-B: 50%, A*-C: 80%
  • GCSE Physics Cohort size: 26, 9-7: 100%

Our Secondary school is a 11-18 secondary school with a co-educational Sixth Form in Lewisham, South East London. We are an outstanding school and our most recent Progress 8 score places us as 10th best school in the country. We pride ourselves on our high expectations of all learners.   • 3+ years of experience teaching or leading Physics in a UK secondary school
