About the Role
Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of beauty professionals? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lecturer in Beauty Therapy to join our vibrant team at the Hayes Campus. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across a range of beauty therapy programmes, including full-time City and Guilds Levels 2, 3, and 4, as well as a variety of commercial and short courses. Our state-of-the-art beauty salon provides an excellent environment for both teaching and learning, equipped to industry standards to ensure our students gain hands-on, real-world experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching across a range of Beauty Therapy courses, including evening and short courses
- Teach and assess advanced techniques such as Advanced Epilation, Hair Reduction using Intense Pulsed Light Systems, and Skin Rejuvenation using LASER systems
- Support and guide students to achieve their full potential
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of our programmes
About You
You will be an experienced beauty therapy professional with a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. You will possess:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy
- Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the Further Education sector
- At least 3 years’ experience in the Beauty industry
- Experience teaching, training, or assessing within the Beauty industry
- Qualified and experienced to teach and assess Level 3 Advanced Epilation
- Level 4 qualification in Hair Reduction using Intense Pulsed Light Systems
- Level 4 qualification in Skin Rejuvenation using LASER Systems
