A high-performing 4-form entry primary school in Redbridge is looking to appoint an experienced and resilient Year 6 Teacher to support pupils through their final year of primary education. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent. You will take full responsibility for planning and delivering the curriculum, including preparing pupils for SATs, while being supported by a strong upper-KS2 leadership structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-quality teaching and learning in Year 6
- Plan and deliver lessons that prepare pupils academically and emotionally for transition to secondary school
- Track progress closely and implement targeted support where needed
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement
- Work collaboratively within a large Year 6 team in a 4FE setting
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching Year 6 or upper KS2
