A welcoming and forward-thinking primary setting in Redbridge, East London, is seeking a Reception Teacher to join their EYFS team from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for a strong ECT or an experienced teacher at MPS3–MPS4. The school offers excellent support, a collaborative environment, and a well-resourced Early Years setting.
About the role:
- Deliver creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate EYFS lessons
- Plan and assess in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Work closely with EYFS colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Track and monitor children’s progress, ensuring high-quality provision
- Maintain strong safeguarding practices at all times
The ideal candidate:
- QTS required – strong ECTs encouraged to apply
- Teachers on MPS1–MPS4 also welcomed, ideally MPS3 or MPS4
- Previous EYFS teaching experience (placements or post-qualification)
- Strong understanding of child-centred learning and early childhood development
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
- Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about Early Years education
