A welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Harrow is seeking an experienced SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team as soon as possible. This role will see you working closely with a pupil who has Special Educational Needs, providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language difficulties)
  • Support the class teacher in delivering personalised learning strategies
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons and activities
  • Monitor and record progress, liaising with the SENCo and parents as required
  • Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment

The Candidate:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN (in school or similar settings)
