Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant ready for a rewarding new role supporting pupils with complex needs? A warm, inclusive primary school in Lewisham is seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join their Specialist Resource Provision (ARP). This is a long-term, full-time opportunity starting straight away, perfect for someone passionate about making a real difference in children's lives.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with very high needs, including ASD, communication difficulties, and other additional needs
- Working closely with the SENCO, Teachers, and external specialists to deliver tailored support
- Encouraging independence and emotional development through consistent routines and positive behaviour support
- Assisting with personal care and daily learning activities where required
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working within an SEN ARP (Additional Resource Provision) or specialist setting
- Confident supporting pupils with complex or high-level needs
- Calm, adaptable, and resilient with a nurturing approach
- Able to commit to full-time hours (8:30am β 3:30pm), Monday to Friday
