A welcoming Primary School in Camden is looking for a patient, nurturing and resilient 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time, mornings-only basis.

The Role:

  • Working 1:1 with a Year 4 pupil with significant SEMH needs.
  • Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour management and re-engagement with learning.
  • Building trust and consistency through positive relationships and clear boundaries.
  • Collaborating closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals.

Hours: Monday–Friday mornings (approx. 8:30am–12:30pm).

About You:

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs (essential).
  • Confident using strategies to promote emotional well-being and self-regulation.
  • Calm, empathetic, and able to set clear expectations.
  • Available to start immediately and able to commit for the remainder of the academic year.
