A welcoming Primary School in Camden is looking for a patient, nurturing and resilient 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time, mornings-only basis.
The Role:
- Working 1:1 with a Year 4 pupil with significant SEMH needs.
- Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour management and re-engagement with learning.
- Building trust and consistency through positive relationships and clear boundaries.
- Collaborating closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals.
Hours: Monday–Friday mornings (approx. 8:30am–12:30pm).
About You:
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs (essential).
- Confident using strategies to promote emotional well-being and self-regulation.
- Calm, empathetic, and able to set clear expectations.
- Available to start immediately and able to commit for the remainder of the academic year.
