We are looking for a Class Teacher with a SEND specialism.
Key responsibilities:- Set challenging teaching and learning objectives which are relevant to all students in your classes.
- Select and prepare a range of resources that take into account all students’ learning needs, languages and cultural backgrounds.
- Have a good understanding of factors influencing student learning, including ethnicity, gender, abilities and attainment and how these relate to personalised provision for students.
- Create an inviting and stimulating environment both within the classroom and outdoors, including the celebration of pupils’ achievements.
- Have knowledge of a range of approaches to assessment, including questioning, oral assessment and self-assessment and the importance of formative assessment.
- Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent.
- Degree in subject specialism.
- Additional relevant training in Safeguarding.
- GCSE in Math and English.

The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
