We are delighted to introduce you to our Secondary School that is at the heart of the local community looking for a Teacher of English. At our School, we aim to provide a caring yet challenging curriculum and environment in which the talents of each student are nurtured and enabled to flourish. There is a relentless drive to enable students to achieve their full potential and we can fully support you in a dynamic team as a Teacher of English.

We are an oversubscribed popular community school, following the Ofsted in July 2023 we were judged to be a ‘Good’ school. The report states that ‘One pupil expressed the views of many, saying, ‘Our School is unique, we are one community.’ Another pupil said: ‘Everyone looks out and cares for one another.’ We have been awarded a state of the art rebuild, designed with cutting edge technology with work to begin in the autumn of 2024. This alongside our increased numbers means we are in the fortunate position to be recruiting to expand our core teams of English, Maths and Science and are therefore excited to welcome a Teacher of English.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of English to join our expanding highly established and successful department. We are looking for a Teacher of English with passion and the drive to develop their own practice. As a Teacher of English, you should be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment, the ability to reflect and a personal desire to improve and develop.
