Year Team and Phonics Leader - About you:
We are seeking to appoint a Full-Time, Year Team and Phonics Leader, initially based in EYFS or KS1 to join our team from January 2026. This vacancy is ideal for a qualified class teacher with previous leadership experience. You will take lead responsibility for:
- Effective planning and delivery of the Year 1 curriculum to ensure progress in line with expectations
- Responsibility for the whole-school phonics curriculum, ensuring its effective implementation, monitoring teaching quality and analysing pupil progress
- Leading by example, coaching and mentoring colleagues while fostering a collaborative, development-focused environment
- Ensuring teaching resources are diverse, inclusive, readily available and support the curriculum
- Building positive relationships with the team, parents/carers and the community
- Drive improvements in standards of teaching, learning and achievement for all pupils
