An oversubscribed, friendly, family orientated yet progressive school with children who are polite, kind to each other, enthusiastic, motivated and love learning have now expanded to become a three-form entry school; hence, Governors are seeking to appoint a motivated, creative and enthusiastic full time class teacher to join our dedicated staff in Key Stage 2.

As a KS2 Teacher, you would join an amazing teaching team who deliver exciting approaches to learning and teaching ensuring their pupils have a broad and balanced range of opportunities by which to foster the development of positive, responsible attitudes towards learning alongside the development of personal and social skills.

  • KS2 Teacher – experienced or ECT
  • Degree and Qualified Teacher Status (obtained in the UK ONLY)
  • Clear understanding of the National Curriculum at its application.
  • Provide an engaging and diverse curriculum, which reflects the pupils’ daily lived experiences and makes full use of the local community to enrich their learning.
  • To give children ownership of their own learning and a role in planning a curriculum, which reflects their interests and questions.
  • Complete ongoing assessment for learning.
  • Support and provide a ‘brain-friendly’ approach based on what children need for optimal cognitive functioning, including growth mindset.
  • To provide use of ‘in the moment’ feedback and assessment for learning to move learners on.
  • Work with a robust behaviour policy based on high quality relationships and mutual respect including an understanding of the zones of regulation.
