ASAP Start 3 days per week (22.5 hours)
We are seeking a dedicated Trainer/Assessor to join our team on a part time basis for 3 days (22.5 hours per week). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality support, predominately to carpentry and property maintenance apprentices, ensuring their timely achievement and overall success. Experience of working within an apprenticeship delivery environment would be desirable, but training will be available for candidates who can demonstrate high levels of industry skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support leading to timely achievement of apprentices’ goals.
- Form and maintain professional relationships with employers to facilitate effective training and assessment, and ensure repeat business.
- Conduct regular learning reviews with apprentices and employers, setting and reviewing targets to ensure continuous progress.
- Assist in the on-boarding process, including conducting interviews and induction sessions for new students.
- Deliver high-quality training sessions to support the wider learning and development of apprentices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working within an apprenticeship delivery environment is desirable, but training will be available for high-quality candidates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to form professional relationships with employers and apprentices.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality training and support.
