This 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity offers the chance to make a real impact in the life of a child with additional needs, while gaining valuable experience in a supportive school setting.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Graduate with a 2:1 degree or above (preferred)
- Previous child-related experience, ideally with SEN
- Aspiring Educational Psychologists, Teachers, Counsellors, or Therapists
- Confident with behaviour management strategies
- Strong team player with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
- Passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs

Role Details – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 SEN support in and out of the classroom
- Roles available in KS1 and KS2
- Work closely with the SENCo
- Track academic and social development
- Deliver small group interventions weekly
- Full-time role starting in September
- Long-term contract for the academic year (potential to extend)
- Based in Barnet
