We are a firm of Accountants & Tax Advisors based in London and looking for a UK Experienced Senior Accountant to join a rapidly expanding and friendly team to work from home. We are a forward-thinking accounting firm providing a range of accounting and tax services and are looking for someone who is ready to start their career in accountancy and tax.
The position is for an Assistant Accountant who will work in the accounts team to support the Manager with all aspects of accounting compliance. The role offers great opportunity to grow and develop accounting and soft skills along with study support to qualify for either the AAT or the ACCA/ACA qualifications.
Responsibilities:- Prepare company statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
- Carry out all aspects of bookkeeping
- Submission of company confirmation statements and registrations for PAYE and VAT
- Companies House duties of company incorporation and changes of directorships
- Preparing personal tax returns for landlords, directors and complex high net worth individuals
- Present quarterly VAT returns to the Manager for final submission
- 4 years previous UK experience needed
- Must be willing to learn
- Must show an aptitude for analytical skills
- Able to use your initiative
- Must care about your job and the levels of service you provide
- Able to build lasting client relationships
- Proactively develop technical knowledge
