Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve targets and deliver excellent customer experiences.
- Manage controllable costs and efficiencies to proactively improve profitability.
- Oversee the management of the sales floor during trading hours.
- Review commercial opportunities and customer feedback to enhance sales and take appropriate actions.
- Implement the trading plan, including visual merchandising, to ensure the store and team are prepared for all trading periods.
- Plan staffing levels according to trading needs and manage rotas.
- Complete all employment documentation to ensure accurate and timely payment for team members, including management team capabilities.
- Recruit, develop, and train a high-performing, engaged team.
- Manage Health and Safety procedures, ensuring team understanding of responsibilities.
- Handle Employee Relations issues fairly and in accordance with company policies.
- Review personal performance and maintain a development plan.
- Manage cash, stock, and security procedures to company standards, ensuring team understanding.
- Ensure store compliance with all legal and company requirements, including visual merchandising, PCI, data protection, and right to work.
- Drive the implementation of new initiatives to meet store objectives.
- Ensure effective store administration and stock management to maximize sales and minimize losses.
