We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Broker to join our Carbon Derivatives team based in London. You will support experienced Brokers and undertake various tasks as outlined below. We seek a proactive, hardworking individual with an interest in commodities and carbon derivatives, eager to develop a long-term broking career in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the broking team with daily tasks.
- Updating internal market pricing whiteboards and in-house client pricing systems.
- Communicating market pricing among team members.
- Identifying market pricing opportunities and interesting trends.
- Conducting market research projects.
- Assisting in creating daily market reports.
- Performing general administrative duties.
- Opportunities to progress into a broker role over time.
- Handling additional ad hoc duties as needed.
