We are seeking an experienced Gas & LNG Options Broker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will brok e Gas & LNG options transactions between counterparties, provide market intelligence, and ensure optimal execution for clients in the global Gas & LNG market, playing a key role in growing the desk and client base.
What you’ll be doing
- Broking Gas & LNG Options, ensuring competitive pricing and efficient execution.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive growth.
- Monitoring Gas & LNG markets, price movements, and volatility to provide clients with timely insights and trading opportunities.
- Understanding and communicating the risk profiles of Gas & LNG options products, including pricing structures and hedging strategies.
- Negotiating terms and conditions of Gas & LNG options contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Maintaining accurate records of trades and providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Participating and attending all necessary regulatory training and being responsible for your individual regulatory compliance, supporting the team to meet this as well.
- Assisting the Onboarding team with AML/KYC due diligence queries.
- Attending team meetings to discuss commercial performance.
- Representing the company at industry events and initiatives (e.g., Baltic Exchange) and acting as an ambassador.
- Understanding and inputting into the business strategy for the company and helping identify new business opportunities related to trends, future markets, products, and clients.
- Traveling and attending client social events where required.
- Performing additional or ad‑hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Other requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Gas & LNG options derivatives broking markets.
- Existing network within the Gas broking and trading community.
- Strong understanding of Gas markets, options pricing, and risk management.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with clients.
- Strong commercial instinct and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Proficiency in market analysis and financial modelling.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and trading standards.
