Gibb Tools & Supplies is a leading player in the supply of Maintenance, Repair and Operational (MRO) equipment, tools and consumables to the energy sector. We have a key focus on the North Sea oil industry and the supply of engineering tools to our customers who are in the industrial and retail sectors. Our customers rely on Gibb Tools & Supplies to supply them with the tools and solutions they need to maintain uptime.
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the team in our Teesside office. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience within a fast-paced, highly pressurised warehouse environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Picking & packing products to be dispatched locally and internationally.
- Ensuring customers receive the correct goods on time and in excellent condition.
- Taking deliveries and ensuring stock is sorted and processed.
- Maintaining stock records and completing all necessary administration and recording in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Reporting any concerns, problems, incidents, or accidents to the Warehouse Manager in accordance with Company policy.
- Ensuring warehousing goals are met.
- Keeping the warehouse and service area clean and tidy.
- Communicating effectively and working closely with colleagues in the team and in the office.
- Adhere to all Company Health & Safety, Quality, and Security compliance standards.
- Additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
