Division Overview

We deliver best-in-class performance in our Futures division. We offer comprehensive FFA (Forward Freight Agreement) and specialist commodity derivative broking services to shipping companies, banks, investment houses and other institutions seeking to manage freight exposure by increasing or reducing risk. We evaluate a client’s total portfolio of contracts, identify the market and counterparty risks, and help them in their decision to adopt bespoke risk management solutions. Discover more at

Role Summary

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are pleased to hear from Commodity Brokers interested in joining our teams across various offices including: London, Singapore, and Dubai. We have openings for top talent across different levels (junior, mid-level and senior), and across various markets including: Battery Metals, Carbon, FFA Dry, FFA Gas, FFA Wet, Fuel Oil & Gas, Iron Ore Swaps, Options Dry and more!

What you’ll be doing

  1. Daily contact with clients and colleagues providing market insight and trade ideas.
  2. The arrangement and execution of trades on behalf of clients.
  3. Build and develop strategic relationships with key clients and prospects, and act as lead negotiator in high-level contract discussions, ensuring the customer success is paramount.
  4. Drive revenue and develop client base.
  5. Keep abreast of market intel and trends.
  6. Assist with due diligence and approval of new clients, and brokerage level agreements.
  7. Conduct reviews of processes to identify and manage risk.
  8. Attend team meetings to discuss commercial performance and compliance updates.
  9. Understand the business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients.
  10. Identify and introduce new clients to the market and maintain professional relationships.
  11. Perform market analysis and provide market insight and trade ideas to clients.
  12. Travel and attend client social events where required.
  13. Additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

  1. Successful track record of commodities broking
  2. 1-10+ years commodities broking experience
  3. Excellent communicator and personable, able to build effective relationships
  4. Strong commercial judgement with excellent negotiation skills
  5. Good numeracy skills and excellent presentation skills
  6. High focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  7. Good MS Office skills
