We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a new build retail supermarket project in Wimborne Minster. This is a freelance role suited to a hands-on Site Manager with strong experience in retail or commercial new builds, capable of managing site operations from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of the construction site
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site compliance
- Liaising with the project team, client, and consultants
- Managing site documentation, RAMS, and progress reporting
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on retail or commercial new build projects
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to manage programme, quality, and H&S effectively
- Freelance / self-employed status
