A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking experienced Sub Agents and Site Agents to join a major infrastructure project on the A9 in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term roadworks scheme involving the upgrade of 8.2km of carriageway to dual carriageway standard. The project offers long-term security, strong career prospects, and the opportunity to work on one of Scotland's significant infrastructure developments.

Role Overview

The successful candidates will support the delivery of a major highways project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. Applicants must have strong experience across:

  • Earthworks
  • Drainage
  • Structures

Candidates with previous highways, roadworks or major infrastructure experience will be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day site operations
  • Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and budget
  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Liaising with engineers, commercial teams, and project management
  • Overseeing quality assurance and technical compliance
  • Supporting project reporting and progress tracking
  • Driving efficient and safe project delivery
