Clarkson Owens recruitment are working with a well established main contractor who due to a large number of project wins are looking for an experienced contracts manager to join their team. This will be to look after projects throughout the central belt, with the occasional job further afield. This company work on a variety of projects including commercial buildings, hotels, distilleries, warehouses etc.
This role will involve:
- Review drawings to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
- Plan programmes for construction, procurement, surveying, and services.
- Coordinate with local authorities, service providers, and other relevant organisations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records and documentation.
- Appoint and manage subcontractors and suppliers to meet project timelines.
- Monitor site progress, ensuring work runs safely, efficiently, and to schedule.
- Identify and resolve design, construction, and information issues to prevent delays.
- Support the preparation of estimates, tenders, and procurement plans.
- Manage site teams, budgets, and resources to achieve contract objectives.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting and documentation.
