We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Solar projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The candidate will be based in Glasgow, but must be willing to travel to projects across Scotland and Northern England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage BESS and Solar projects from inception to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in project management, specifically in BESS and Solar projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale renewable energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of BESS and Solar technologies, industry standards, and best practices.

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
