Freelance Site Manager – New Build Retail Project
Location: Liskeard, Cornwall
Duration: 4th May - November
Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience)
We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a new build retail store project in Bridgend. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced project with an immediate start and a strong pipeline through to completion in November.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Maintaining health & safety compliance and site documentation
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build retail or commercial projects
- Valid SMSTS certification
- CSCS Black Managers Card (essential)
- First Aid at Work certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to hit the ground running and manage a live site independently
