We are working with an esteemed client who is looking for multiple General Foremen to come on board for projects in the North of Scotland. The client has projects all over Scotland so location is not an issue, but the candidate must be willing to work away from home. Projects are solely within the energy sector, so experience and/or tickets in this field is very beneficial. Candidates also need to have civil engineering experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Carrying out all aspects of on-site engineering from design checks, take offs, setting out and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Producing, maintaining and amending site documents.
  • Writing and preparing site paperwork including construction phase plans, works package plans, method statements, task briefings, risk assessments and site permits.
  • Managing the production of site quality documents e.g. ITPs and quality checklists etc.
  • Attending pre-start and contract meetings.
  • Managing sub-contractors (programme and compliance).
  • Involvement in delivery of multiple sites at any one time (where appropriate).
  • Client liaison which involves providing reports and progress meetings.
  • Document control via Story Contracting web-based portal.
  • Keeping contemporaneous records of project costs within your control.
