Finance Manager (Commercial) | Greenock | Excellent Career Opportunity Finance Manager / Commercial Manager Location: Greenock Salary: Competitive + Benefits I'm currently working with a well-established organisation in Greenock that is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join its growing team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining financial management with commercial and quantity surveying responsibilities. You'll play a key role in managing the financial performance of projects while supporting the wider business with commercial decision-making. Key Responsibilities: * Produce monthly management accounts, forecasts and financial reports. * Manage cash flow, budgets and financial controls. * Monitor project costs, profitability and financial performance. * Prepare valuations, applications for payment and final accounts. * Manage subcontractor payments and cost reporting. * Identify commercial risks and opportunities across projects. * Support senior management with financial planning and strategic decisions. * Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects remain commercially successful. About You: * Experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Quantity Surveyor or Commercial role. * Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret financial data. * Experience within the construction or engineering sector would be highly advantageous. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Confident using financial systems and Microsoft Excel. * A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
