Location: Glasgow / Central Scotland

Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience

Our client, an established contractor, is looking to recruit an experienced BIM / Revit MEP Coordinator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong BIM/Revit professional with experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) services who is comfortable working across live construction projects and coordinating with consultants, contractors and project teams.

The Role

As BIM / Revit MEP Coordinator, you will be responsible for producing, managing and coordinating high-quality BIM models and technical drawings, helping ensure building services are fully coordinated before installation on site.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining Revit MEP models across mechanical, electrical and public health services
  • Coordinating MEP services with architectural and structural models
  • Producing coordinated construction drawings and detailed installation information
  • Carrying out clash detection and model reviews
  • Identifying and resolving coordination issues before they reach site
  • Working with engineers, project managers, subcontractors and site teams
  • Managing model revisions and maintaining accurate BIM information
  • Ensuring drawings and models comply with project BIM standards and client requirements
  • Attending coordination meetings and contributing technically to project delivery
  • Supporting projects from initial coordination through to construction and as-built information

The successful candidate should have:

  • Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, ideally Revit MEP
  • Previous experience in an MEP/BIM coordination role
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
  • Experience coordinating services within complex building layouts
  • Ability to interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings
  • Experience with Navisworks and clash detection would be advantageous
  • Good attention to detail and a practical understanding of how coordinated designs translate to installation on site
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage workloads and work across multiple projects

Experience within an MEP contractor, building-services consultancy, construction contractor or BIM coordination environment would be particularly relevant. This is an opportunity to join a specialist team where you can have a genuine impact on project delivery rather than simply producing drawings. On offer is a competitive salary based on experience, a varied project workload and the opportunity to develop your career as the business continues to grow.

If you're an experienced BIM / Revit MEP Coordinator and would like to discuss the opportunity, please apply with your CV and details of your current experience.
