We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a new build retail store project in Bridgend. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑paced project with an immediate start and a strong pipeline through to completion in November.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of site operations
  • Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
  • Maintaining health & safety compliance and site documentation
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build retail or commercial projects
  • Valid SMSTS certification
  • CSCS Black Managers Card (essential)
  • First Aid at Work certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to hit the ground running and manage a live site independently
