We are looking for a freelance Project Manager who is able to cover 2 projects within the UK, with the first project in Devon, and the second one in Saltcoats. The first project is due to commence on the 13th of April, with the second project due to commence in May. The client has a good pipeline of work coming up in the UK, requiring a good setup as there will be a continual pipeline of work.
The works contain all aspects of building and project management, including:
- Drainage
- Concrete
- White wall panelling
- Roofing
- Scaffolding
- Cladding
- M&E
- Lift and shift
- Logistics
- Equipment installation
These are all for large industrial projects. Ideally, we are looking for a person with a civil engineering background, with 10 years plus experience. The candidate should be smart, hardworking, good with clients, and have a positive attitude. They must be able to multitask, be flexible, and work well under pressure. Safety is a priority, and they will be fully responsible for keeping our sites up to standard. Some of the works are small but will be fast-paced and need to be well organised.
For the right person, there is a great opportunity to progress within the client's organisation. Long term, the client is looking to set up a small team in the UK to continually manage these works. Rates are open to negotiation depending on experience, with accommodation and travel to Devon also covered.
